Museum of the National Anthem in Będomin
The Museum of the National Anthem in Będominwas officially opened on July 17, 1978, as a branch of the National Museum in Gdańsk. Two permanent exhibitions are located on the ground floor of the mansion and take eight halls with a total area of 280 square meters.
Permanent exhibition
- "Józef Wybicki and his epoch." This exhibition shows the achievements of Józef Wybicki in the last years ofthe Nobles’ Republic of Poland and during the Kościuszko Uprising and the formation of Polish Legions in Italy. Moreover, facilities characteristic of a Pomeranian noble mansion from the eighteenth and the first half of the nineteenth century are presented in the former living room, alcove and lounge.
- "The role of the national anthem in maintaining the national consciousness of Poles in the ninetieth and twentieth centuries”. The exhibition shows how "Dąbrowski's Mazurek" accompanied Poles in their struggles to regain their independence during the partitions, during the November Uprising, January Uprising, and World War I and II. The exhibition presents the post-war period until the present day.
