Wdzydze Lanscape Park
The scenic Wdzydze Lanscape Park was established in 1983 on the surface of 17.8 thousand ha (15.2 thousand ha are under protection).
This area belongs to Tuchola Forests in the Kościerski District, and it was created to protect the natural, cultural and landscape values of the region.
The central part of the park is the cross-flow ribbon Wdzydze lake (Wdzydze lake, Jelenie lake,Radolne lake and Gołuń lake), its shores are 9 and 11 km long, its area is 1455.6 ha and the maximum depth is 71.4 m.There are up to ten islands within the lake forming the natural wealth as well as a scenic and tourist attraction of the park. In addition to the Wdzydze lakes, there are more than 160 lakes and ponds.
Owing to the numerous and clear lakes and rivers and wonderful wildlife and landscape, the Park is a very popular destination for tourists.
